7 We raise our pigs here on the farm. They are not given any hormones or steroids. They are fed a GMO-free grain and also lots of excess produce. Half and whole pigs are available for purchase, they will be ready for butcher the beginning of October, Pricing for whole pigs is $3.75/pound based on hanging weight (180-220 pounds average) this includes butchering, packaging and freezing. Half pig pricing would be $1.85/pound hanging weight.
Retail cuts of pork are available at our farm store and at local farmers markets we attend. Please note that we are a small farm and do run out of some items until our next processing time.
